Diffuse lamellar keratitis
Diffuse lamellar keratitis or ‘Sands of Sahara’ syndrome was first described by Smith and Maloney in 1998.
<症状>LASIK術後1日目から6日目くらいにおこる視力低下、痛み。
<所見>sterile infiltration at the stromal interfaceを特徴とする炎症所見。
＜治療＞
Therapy options include topical steroids, oral steroids and if necessary lifting the flap
and irrigating the interface. If stromal melting is
already present, it is advisable to avoid lifting the aflap.
